Accent Walls are excellent as they require little work but are amazingly effective. And normally they don't cost much. Let yourself be inspired and create your own Accent Wall!
Many choose to place an Accent Wall behind the sofa or the bed, but Accent Walls can be used in a variety of ways. They provide a good way to bring some colour and feel into a room, without going overboard on the crazy. Here are a couple of examples.
You can create an accent wall simply by hanging a lot of pictures on one wall. Somehow all the frames will create tidiness, especially if they have the same colour and style.
En entire wall with small shelves displaying books can also constitute an interesting Accent Wall. You can also decorate the shelves with lots of beautiful objects like vases, boxes and fancy goods.
Non-woven – What is it?
Non-woven Photo Wall Murals are made of a non-organic material. This material does not shrink or swell, which means it can be glued directly on to the wall.
• The preparatory work is of course of the outmost importance before installing a Photo Wallpaper. The basic rule is that the wall is dry and smooth before the installation. This is extra important for non-woven photo wallpaper.
• If you are using a wall that already has old wallpaper, you should first scrape of any loose wallpaper around doors, windows and corners, to create a surface the new wallpaper can stick to.
• Sand the joints to get a smooth surface and the apply spackling paste on the joints.
